With more than 15 years of experience in the sector, Manuel Lolo is Dr. in Chemistry, expert in Mass Spectromety and Business Administration.
In 2005 he joined the American multinational Applied Biosystems as an applications engineer in the mass spectrometry support group in southern Europe.
In 2008, together with other partners, he decided to create AMSlab, a company dedicated to the quality control of consumer products such as textiles, footwear and cosmetics, developing the position of CEO. In addition to AMSlab, in 2013 they acquired Xenotechs Laboratory, specialized in genetic analysis.
In this way, they continued to develop new projects and in 2018 AMSbiopharma was born to serve the pharmaceutical industry by offering scientific services during the discovery stage of new drugs, thus being the first Galician CRO to offer these services and the first national laboratory specialized in quality control of biological drugs.
In 2019, AMSlab Group acquires CIFGA Laboratory, whose activity is focused on the production of standards and reference materials for analysis and research.
Likewise, during these years he actively participates in R&D activities directing various R&D projects of business consortiums, facilitating the generation of knowledge for the group’s companies by participating in projects at the regional, national and international level.
