Farmaforum, the leading national event for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector, will take place on 22 and 23 September at the IFEMA exhibition centre in Madrid, Hall 10.
Farmaforum 2026 will hold its twelfth edition on 22 and 23 September at IFEMA Madrid. The event, which has been held annually since 2014, brings together professionals and companies from the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, cosmetics and laboratory technology sectors, and serves as a meeting point for the various stakeholders that form part of these industries’ value chain.
At this year’s event, the trade fair will cover a gross area of 15,900 square metres, hosting 322 exhibitors, the majority of whom are domestic firms and European delegations with direct representation. The organisers also expect more than 8,000 trade visitors to attend, according to figures provided by Farmaforum.
AMSbiopharma, a laboratory based in Lugo and part of the AMSlab Group, which specialises in analytical services for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors, will be exhibiting at this trade fair for the first time.
Their presence at this year’s event will enable them to showcase their updated range of services and the company’s major new developments, as well as offering industry professionals the chance to gain first-hand insight into their capabilities and areas of work, share experiences and explore new opportunities for collaboration with other industry players.

In the preclinical field, it offers analytical support for the discovery, characterisation and development of therapeutic candidates, whilst its CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls) and Quality Control services cover analyses relating to the characterisation, evaluation and quality control of active substances and pharmaceutical products.
Throughout the two days of the trade fair, the sales team and the Quality Control Manager (QC Manager) from AMSbiopharma will be available at stand C2, located in Hall 10 at IFEMA, to meet with professionals interested in discussing their analytical requirements or exploring new avenues for collaboration.
For its part, Farmaforum 2026 will feature a series of events designed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and collaboration amongst members of the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Topics such as quality, regulation and inspections, innovation in research and development, and the future of laboratories and talent will be covered throughout the event.
